Activities in collaboration with NCIHD under the COMDIS support

  1. Develop operational guidelines of Public Private Partnership for TB Control, Nepal (ongoing) 
  2. Follow up of Public Private Partnerships in Lalitpur, Nepal (ongoing) 
  3. Understanding stigma and discrimination associated with TB in Asia 
  4. Management of TB suspects under programme conditions in resource poor settings in Nepal (ongoing) 
  5. Assessing the effectiveness of providing socio economic support to MDR TB patients in Nepal (ongoing) 
  6. Linking TB and HIV/AIDS services in Asia (planned) 
  7. Revision of NTP Nepal guidelines and training materials (planned) 
  8. Develop Guidelines for PPP in Asia (Generic version based on experience of Nepal, Bangladesh and Pakistan) - planned 
  9. Other research activities will be planned in priority areas in TB, HIV/AIDS and Malaria in collaboration with respected organisations and individuals, and NCIHD in Leeds, and COMDIS country partners
