Mr Kumar is a public health professional with more than eight years professional experience in the field of Health system strengthening, MNH, Nutrition and HIV.
He has a good coordination skills with stakeholders and local level. He acquires a good programmatic and managerial capability to plan, implement, monitoring and evaluation of MNH. He has a good command on community-based interventional research.
He has previously worked with H4L, UNICEF and FHI Nepal among others. He is knowledgeable about project designing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. He has in-depth knowledge and experience on program, research including financial and human resources management. He is skilled in communication, coordination, report writing, documentation, partners’ management, research, training design/facilitation, advocacy and networking for strengthening public health interventions.
In addition, he has computer skill on SPSS, EPi Info, MS word, power point and excel. He has also conducted academic and interventional research on “Performance of FCHVs on Management of Childhood Diarrhoea in Central Terai of Nepal and Delivery of Community-Based PMTCT Services including take-home mother and infant NVP in Achham District of Nepal. Mr Kumar holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Currently, he is working as a Programme Officer at Bara for Support to NTP at HERD.
